Global Supply Chain Logistics and Inventory Management
We provide a variety of services to the Consumer Service organizations of major and small manufacturers. Through our Global logistics team, we purchase and import thousands of different goods from around the world, effectively taking over scheduling, sourcing, and distribution of your procurement needs.

We have proven experience in managing billions of dollars of inventory and feeding directly to your manufacturing lines or shipping directly to your desired retail locations. We also package and distribute several types of time-consuming hand-packed products and parts for your retail market. In addition, we can schedule, source & package your components parts into packaged kits

We have a long history and experience in a wide variety of custom manufactured assemblies. We have dedicated tooling and machines for your specialized products lines. We produced both functional and decorative assemblies and retail packages for a variety of industries.

We have extensive experience with managing spare parts and cost effectively performing warranty repairs We can simplify your operations and reduce manufacturing time, labor costs, and material costs by utilizing our team of professionals to manage your business needs.

Retail Packaging and Distribution
Innovative customer service is at the heart of what makes us unique. Our ability to package retail products & deliver directly to all the major retailers provides a unique opportunity for our customers to efficiently and cost effectively get their products to market. Our customers who target the “Do-it-Yourself” consumer market have hit a homerun utilizing our services.

We handle all aspects of our Retail Packaging / Distribution business except for sales, which is handled by our customer partner. Our start-up efforts involved helping to develop the packaging design, sourcing materials, and procuring the equipment and facilities necessary to launch this exciting business.

We routinely schedule incoming materials and packaging production directly from our customer's marketing computer system and then ship the packaged products directly to retail outlet centers. This joint venture has been a resounding success, landing retail distribution accounts with several national and regional chains of hardware and department stores and increasing sales ten-fold since its initial year.

Information Systems
At Derby, we realize the importance of being flexible and keeping up with current technology in all areas, including information systems. For this reason, we have an open architecture to our information systems for easy integration into our customer’s varied e-business platforms.

We have an e-business digitization strategy we are strongly committed to because it makes doing business with us so easy. We continually provide Six Sigma and Lean thinking solutions to our information systems and business processes.

We have a team of full-time Systems Analysts dedicated to keeping Derby personnel as productive and accurate as possible, but also to providing inventive ways to serve our customers' needs.
